Couldn't Give A Floss

This campaign from Y&R Brazil is a wonderful and novel way to promote the consequences of not using Colgate's Dental Floss product.

A fantastic and fun concept, with compelling yet simple copy, that actually does work. In all three ads, my eyes were drawn to the piece of food before I noticed the defect.

Great idea that demonstrates the product's benefits nicely.

Mixed Messaging

I saw this campaign on my commute home today and it really resonated with me on a personal level.
My Grandad suffered from Parkinson's, and not many people know the extent of frustration caused by the simplest tasks.

This set of ads (apologies for the low quality), by agency The Assembly, perfectly demonstrates how messages that are sent from the brain can become mixed up for the most basic everyday actions.

A lovely idea that raises awareness and grabs attention by engaging its audience.

By having to rearrange the puzzle to read the copy, and distinguish the picture, everyday commuters take on the role of sufferers and are given a small taste of how difficult it can be.

A brilliant campaign idea.

WON DER FUL ADS

I saw these ads from Ogilvy UK and had to post them right away.

They are for travel website Expedia, and are the perfect accompaniment to the New Year, and those vowing to get away.

Beautifully crafted and wonderfully witty - and not needing any explanation whatsoever - the timing of these ads, as well as their execution, is simply perfect.
